| MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY Our mission is to work with people who have limited, non-existent or bad horse experiences and help them understand horse behavior, safety precautions and how the individual's energy impacts the horse. This information helps have positive outcomes with horses and allows the individual to achieve his/her equestrian goals. We help horse owners expand skills and knowledge to improve their horse so it is better to just live with or ride. Philosophically we understand that you can't prevent all horse accidents but with training, education and experience you can minimize the potential. |
| This horseback riding barn is located in Portales New Mexico. It is easy access to nearby areas such as Clovis, Cannon AFB, Floyd, Elida, Dora, and Ft. Sumner. We cater to those without horses or riding experience. Our gentle horses and ponies safely get people started riding. We assist horse owners in finding and getting the best from their own horse. We help fearful folks gain confidence and have a good experience. We prepare families to become future horse owners. Offering lessons or one time rides. SPECIAL NEEDS? Talk to us. Maybe we can make something work for you. We have experience tailoring programs for school credit such as physical education. We work to provide tailored field trips for groups - schools, scouts, 4-H and any other. We can work scout and 4-H requirements into your lessons.
